Analysis of the Results of the BPS Bekasi City BPS Data Needs Survey 2021

Statistical data is needed for various purposes, starting from policy-making processes related to planning, monitoring and evaluating national and regional development, making business decisions in the private sector, as well as for research, academic purposes and so on. Therefore, the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), as the official statistical producing government agency, must be able to provide statistical data that really corresponds to user needs so that the data can be used optimally. In order to identify the current needs of data users, BPS conducted a Data Needs Survey (SKD) throughout Indonesia, including Bekasi Municipality. Furthermore, this survey also aims to obtain information on the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of data and services provided by BPS. The results of the SKD are very useful for BPS in its efforts to provide statistical data that is more relevant, accurate, timely and reliable. The results of this survey also serve as input for BPS to improve the quality of data and services to users, especially regarding data accessibility. In the end, users will also benefit from getting higher quality data more easily and with excellent service. Hopefully the relationship and cooperation between BPS and data users can continue to be improved to support the improvement of national statistics.
